Brunswick Apartments Terms and Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully. When you book one or both of the apartments with us you are entering into a contract, which binds us in various ways.




The Apartments refers to Cantabile (1 bedroom flat) and Dolce (2 bedroom flat). We/Us refers to the owners of Brunswick Apartments and you refers to the person booking with us and whose name is on the confirmation of booking sheet, sent by email or post.


Booking Agreement


A booking is a legally binding contract. This contract comes into effect when we accept a reservation from you. We accept a reservation when we have confirmed the reservation and received any payments owed.


We take a 10% deposit at the time of booking, and the full balance becomes payable at least 30 days prior to the start date of your holiday.If you  book inside the 30 day deadline the whole amount falls due at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Brunswick House), and the following cards:
Visa Debit / Delta, Visa Credit, Maestro / Switch, Mastercard, American Express. There is no charge for these cards.

We will send the booking confirmation either by email or post.


You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a booking.


When a booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained for access to the booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary




All published rates include VAT where applicable (and local taxes) at the current rate. We are not currently VAT registered.


The minimum stay for the apartments is 3 nights. 


If customers wish us to help with ferry crossing and parking permits they need to contact us directly.


Rates do not include other costs you may incur during your stay (unless otherwise stated).


Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. The number of guests must not exceed the totals allowed per apartment. 


In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, you will be offered either alternate accommodation or a full refund.


Arrival and Departure


The apartments are available from 16.30 hours on the day of arrival. The apartments must be vacated by 11.00 hours on the day of departure. Upon the receipt of the balance for your apartment you will be sent the code for the key safe, either by post or email together with instructions for entry to the property. We will also send a text reminder of the code on the day of your arrival (please give mobile number on booking to receive this test)


The keys must be returned either in person or if leaving early, through the letter box at Brunswick House. A charge of £50.00 will be made if the keys are not returned.


Amendments and Cancellations



If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

If the booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 10.00% of the stay will be made.

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.


To amend or cancel your booking, you must call us, or the booking agent, directly using the number contained within the booking confirmation.


Terms and Conditions of Your Stay


We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and well being of our guests. If you would like to check our conditions of stay please contact us.


We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests or neighbours.




Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.


We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control.


You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.


Data Protection


We may process the information you provide to us for the purposes notified by us to the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to this processing of information.


Additional Terms and Conditions


  • Cantabile is not suitable for children of any age. Children from the age of 5 upwards are welcome at Dolce.

  • No domestic pets are allowed. Guide dogs and all assistance dogs are welcome at Brunswick Apartments.

  • We may be able to offer complete packages using Red Funnel ferries.These packages can only be booked in person with us. Separate booking and cancellation terms may apply for these packages.
